In this week's banter, Jerm, Mike, and Charles reflect on the wildly successful UK Column event in York that drew fresh crowds awakening to suppressed truths, highlighting the alarming wave of folks tuning out from everything amid info overload engineered to confuse and control. They stress sharpening discernment to slice through media psyops, injecting humour and levity to keep heavy talks from crushing spirits, while pushing for gritty local community pushes to defy the elite's systemic stranglehold and reclaim stolen personal power. The trio grapples with bridging divides in a fractured landscape of clashing views, wrapping up with a bold call to embrace inconvenience as the raw fuel for sparking real, grassroots upheaval against the globalist machine.? Folge vom 23.10.2025Sudan: Another Forgotten WarThe current so-called ‘civil war’ in Sudan began in April 2023. It has had almost no coverage in any mainstream news. Deaths and injuries as a result of the conflict are estimated to be in the tens of thousands, with a general acceptance that the estimates are likely to be well below reality. In addition, nearly 25 million people are experiencing extreme hunger there.Mike Robinson speaks to Professor Isa Blumi about the Sudan conflict and its place in the wider region. We discuss competing geopolitical interests, why this is yet another example of a conflict driven by geopolitics, and why, for example, Tony Blair considers the Sahel to be of vital importance.Isa Blumi is Professor of Turkish and Middle Eastern Studies at Stockholm University within the Department of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. He holds a PhD in History and Middle Eastern/Islamic Studies from New York University (2005) and a Master of Political Science and Historical Studies (1995) from The New School for Social Research in New York.?
