Montreal in Canada is a true melting pot - the French speaking metropolis is home to about 120 different cultures. Indians, Moroccans, French, Italians and Greeks are among the most prominent groups of immigrants here.

Ever heard of Sheng? It's Kenya's slang that uses words from Swahili and English as well as other local languages. While some love Sheng and the creativity of creating new words, others lament the decline of Swahili skills in schools.

The Mennonites are a rather secluded minority group in Argentina that likes to keep to itself. Most women here don't even speak Spanish, the national language. The Mennonites are similar to the Amish - both groups reject modern technology. DW went to visit one of these communities.
