Sixty years ago, workers at the Wave Hill cattle station in the Northern Territory took a stand against discrimination and poor working conditions and walked off the job in protest. A defining moment for Australia's Indigenous land rights, the Wave Hill walk off lead the way for the Aboriginal Land Rights Act of1976 and its significance is still celebrated today.
