Our analysis of the top 25 strokes-gained leaders challenges conventional wisdom and might make you reconsider what belongs in your bag.The conversation pivots to course conditions as we explore Coyote Springs' dramatic transformation. We compare its value against Piute, weighing factors beyond just price to help you decide which desert gem deserves your next tee time.Dan shares the story of his recent albatross (or double eagle, depending on your preference), a statistical rarity even more uncommon than a hole-in-one. His driver-pitching wedge combination on a par 5 serves as a reminder that golf's most magical moments often arrive unexpectedly. We also touch on Scottie Scheffler's dominant performance at the CJ Cup, where he tied the PGA Tour scoring record, and critique the disappointing television coverage of the recent Black Desert tournament that failed to showcase one of America's most visually stunning courses.Whether you're debating your next equipment purchase, planning a Las Vegas golf trip, or simply looking for insights into what makes a golf course truly great, this episode delivers the perfect combination of practical advice and pure golf appreciation. "It's scorable, but it's also a thin line between being scorable and also will whip your ass," Jeremy observes, highlighting the course's perfect balance of accessibility and challenge. The confusing tee markers spark a heated debate, with Joe frustrated by the identical mining-cart-wheel markers that lack clear color differentiation. "I just wish there was a zinc plating on those T-markers, or a gold plating or a copper plating, because they all look the same," he argues, while others defend the unique mining-themed design. Despite this minor complaint, all agree Laughlin Ranch belongs in their personal top-10 rankings. We dive into golf equipment reselling on Whatnot, with Joe and Matt sharing both success stories and warnings about potential scams.
